MT KENYA naru moro - chogoria route

Naru Moro - Chogoria.

This is a six-day adventure trek to the peak of Lenana. Our chosen route is less travelled, ensuring you will encounter fewer people. However, it is more challenging than other options, as we will cycle the jagged peaks of Nelion and Batnia at 5,188 and 5,199 meters, respectively.

Prepare for long days of hiking on rocky paths to reach Point Lenana, which stands at 4,985 meters. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of deep valleys covered in dense forest and giant hanging rock cathedrals. Keep an eye out for the various bird species and herbivorous mammals that call this mountain home.

Upon arriving in Nairobi, we will arrange accommodation for you before your transfer to Naru Moro if it's late in the evening. This town on the west side of Mt Kenya serves as the starting point for our climb, and many porters and guide staff reside here.
Before heading to Naru Moro, we can organize a city tour of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, which has plenty to offer.
