We offer medical students a fantastic opportunity to gain the authentic experience required by their degree. We can also provide this experience to students in professions such as doctors, nurses, dentists, physiotherapists, social workers, teachers and midwives. It is a great learning experience where students get a chance to make an impact and add much-needed value to society in Kenya.
Medical placements vary from a minimum of four to eight weeks, and if you wish, we can include safaris and trekking during your post. We can design a program to enable this. We aim to get medical students involved in health clinics and health organizations long term and volunteer abroad if they wish with some of the clinics we partner with.
As a medical student, this program gives you a unique opportunity to travel to a tropical country to work in health care with rural and urban communities with different medical challenges compared to Europe or America. In addition to understanding complex medical challenges worldwide, it gives you a chance to impact the local community, and It's a great learning experience you won't soon forget.
