You will be met at the airport by our Adventure Global staff and taken to our office in Nairobi.
After breakfast, we will drive to Masai Mara National Park and stay at Entim Camp in Talek. The first game drive will be after lunch, and will see Masai Mara's world-famous black man lions and the annual wildebeest migration. We will spend 2 ½ days photographing the wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River and the region's resident and migratory carnivores. As we cross the plains of the Masai Mara, we will focus our attention on lions, leopards, endangered black rhinos and other species of wildlife, including several hundred species of birds.
The most dramatic and memorable safari experience will be observing the 2 million wildebeest that migrate between Kenya and Tanzania at many of the wildlife crossings on the Mara River.
We head towards these crossings, hoping to photograph the wildebeest as they gather by the thousands on the banks of the river. Wildebeest play a dangerous game as they try to cross the Mara River as hundreds of crocodiles try to reduce their numbers. Many are guaranteed to die with the swift current, eminent rush, and deadly crocodiles.
The whole day will be spent on safari, taking pictures and enjoying the abundance of wildlife and beautiful scenery the Mara offers as we head east towards Ol-moran Camp.
After an early breakfast, we will depart for another full-day safari. We will bring lunch as the whole day will be spent in the park, and you will have the chance to take many pictures of the incredible Masai Mara Park and its abundant wildlife. In the evening, we return to Ol-moran Camp for refreshing showers, relaxation and evening meals.
This will be our last day at Masai Mara. We will have an early breakfast and catch up on one last safari. We return to camp in time for lunch, then refresh showers and unwind a bit before starting the drive back to Nairobi.
