Christopher was born in Kenya. He completed his high school education and the banking and finance training program at a university in Nairobi. During his university days, he organized trips for family and friends across East Africa for an extended period, and that's when the idea of starting Adventure Global came to him.

While at university, Chris made extended trips to the southern region of Africa during the school holidays. These trips enabled him to experience many rich cultures and meet fantastic people in South Africa and neighbouring countries.

He then moved to Sweden to study further, and the trend also continued in Europe. During the school holidays, he travelled and lived in several countries to experience different cultures and meet their people. He has lived and worked in Stockholm, Oslo, Dublin and London.

After all the trips he made as a private traveller and via a travel company, he decided in 2022 to register Adventure Global in London and Stockholm as an expansion of Adventure Global Nairobi. Adventure Global Limited thus has almost ten years of experience organizing tours and travel in Kenya and its neighbouring countries.

The driving force behind starting this company extension was his satisfaction from seeing lives improved through the various community projects the company carries out with the local community. Our customers, whether local or international,  not only travel with the company for a great vacation but also because they positively affect society through direct investment.

KELLY KIOKO

Director - Adventure Global Kenya                                Tour Leader - Kenya and Tanzania

Kelly Kioko has been responsible for the day-to-day operations of Adventure Global Kenya since its inception. He and Chris are terrific childhood friends, and Kelly was present in many of the early local and regional expeditions that Chris did.

He has often summited East Africa's highest peaks, such as Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro. He is also involved in the part of the company that is involved in charity and oversees the many projects in which the company is involved.

He received his tour and travel diploma from a college in Nairobi. After completing his studies, he organizes trips and is permanently responsible for the day-to-day management operations. Kelly works hand in hand with both the British and Swedish offices in day-to-day operations, account management, and travel preparations.

If anyone travels with Adventure Global to Kenya, the first person to meet you at the airport and throughout your trip will be Kelly. He lives in Nairobi near our offices with his wife and three exceptional children. Born and raised in Nairobi, He has a comprehensive knowledge of the city in the sun and its surroundings, so having a relaxed city tour is no problem. He has extensive experience organizing trips and expeditions, whether rock climbing, trekking, bushland safari, or a drive to the Great Rift Valley.

THERÉSE ENGMAN

Director - Adventure Global Sweden                              Tour Leader - Sweden and Kenya

At Adventure Global Sweden, Therése is in charge of day-to-day operations and organizing trips within the EU, specifically in Sweden and Norway. With her extensive knowledge and experience, she warmly welcomes and arranges trips for visitors to Stockholm.

In addition to her work in Europe, Therése has successfully organized trips to Africa, specifically focused on trekking and safaris in Nairobi National Park, Masai Mara, and the Great Rift Valley. She works closely with the Kenya team to ensure the trips run smoothly.

Therése also collaborates with Kelly Kioko, who is responsible for charity efforts within the company. She has visited and been involved in many of the projects supported by the company. When not working, Therése enjoys forest walks in the nature-rich area outside Stockholm where she resides.
